There is an inherent risk of exposure to Covid-19 in any public place where people are gathered. Covid-19 is an extremely contagious disease that can lead to severe illness or death. People over the age of 65 and/or those with underlying medical conditions are of higher risk. Per your attendance at Wild Horses you voluntarily assume all risk associated w/ Covid-19.

Please follow social distancing and mask recommendations to help protect yourself and others. If you are experiencing a fever, cough, or other symptoms of Covid-19 please do not attend.

Venue Locations & Times

The Polo Fields are located at 3300 Via Real, Carpinteria, CA, 93013 near Santa Barbara. Doors open at 1 PM both days and All Ages are welcome to attend.

Parking

We highly recommend ride sharing to and from the fest. There will be designated Uber & Lyft drop off.[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I bring a bag or backpack?

A medium backpack should be no bigger than 18″ tall, 13″ wide and 8″ thick packed. Bags will have to fit into a box of that size (similar to the system used at airports). If your bag doesn’t fit in the box, it won’t be allowed inside the venue

Does my fanny pack, clutch, or wallet need to be clear?

No, these items do not need to be clear, just within 6.5” x 5.5” limit.

What if my bag is turned away, do I need to reserve an outside locker?

No need to reserve. Outside lockers (subject to availability) are complimentary, and we’ll have some clear bags available for those in need as well.

Are there hotels near the venues?

Yep! There are several hotels located near the festival that are easily accessible and within walking distance.

Can I bring a chair or umbrella?

Blankets are encouraged!

Do I need my ticket both days?

Yes, you will need to present and scan your printed tickets both days in order to be allowed into the festival.

Does my name need to match my ticket?

Nope, we do not match tickets with and ID’s. Although please be aware of scammers and fake third party ticket vendors when buying re-sell tickets.

Is there re-entry?

Sorry. Tickets are good for one entry to the fest per day. No re-entry.

Set times?

Set times will be posted on our website and social media channels shortly before the festival.

Can I smoke or vape?

No smoking please. Your lungs will thank us.

What about weed?

While we very much support California’s progressive stance on recreational marijuana, see above — we are a NO smoking event.

Fans who violate the smoking policy will be asked to leave the venue.

Wild Horses has a zero tolerance policy in regards to drugs. The possession and/or dealing of drugs is prohibited and violators will be turned over to the San Diego police.

For your safety and security, all ticket holders are subject to search at entry.

What forms of payment do you accept?

Cash, credit cards, debit cards, Apple Pay, and Google Pay.

Do I have to bring my ID?

If you plan to consume alcohol and are over the age of 21, you will need your government issued ID to get a wristband to be served alcohol.

Is there ADA at the festivals?

YES. Wild Horses is ADA compliant and our goal is to ensure that everyone who attends has a great experience.

What if it rains?

Rain or shine the show will go on, but we are typically lucky here in California.

Alternately, hats, shades and sunscreen (sealed) are always a good idea!

Will you have festival and artist merchandise available?

Very limited exclusive Wild Horses merch will be available at our merch tent.

We ONLY sell merch at the fest, so get it while it’s hot.

How do I bring in my medical prescription? (ie insulin)

Prescribed medication (in container with matching ID to be checked at entry and only containing the number of doses needed for duration of event as prescribed on the pill container.)

Can I bring a DSLR/professional camera?

Nope- sorry. No DSLR or professional cameras (any cameras with a removable lens)

Will there be vegan friendly food at the events?

Yes. We have a wide assortment of food including vegan and vegetarian options. If you have dietary restrictions and need to bring in outside food, please bring a note from your doctor or nutritionist and our security guards will be happy to help approve items upon arrival.

Will there be a lost and found?

If you lose your ID OR WALLET on Saturday, if they are found they will be at the BOX OFFICE for pick up. All other items, if found, will be at the MERCH BOOTH.

Will there be first aid stations?

Yes. First aid stations will be clearly indicated on site and marked on your festival guide.

Are there refillable water stations?

Yes. There is a free water refill station located near the circle bar in the middle of the festival.

Fans are permitted one 24oz Nalgene style clear bottle for refills. No Camelbaks or bladders will be allowed at entry.

How do I become a vendor or volunteer?

  • Workman’s Tool, pocket knives, or any other tools
  • Skateboards, rollerblades, bicycles, helmets or chairs
  • Signs, flags, banners, posters
  • Pamphlets or product samples
  • Permanent markers or spray paint
  • Camelbaks
  • Hula hoops
  • Tablets, Two-way Radios
  • E-cigarettes, vaporizers, vape pens, atomizers, e-cig fluid

Approved Items

We want to ensure that your time at Wild Horses is comfortable and safe. We’ll have a healthy dose of dancing in the sun so please don’t forget your sealed sunblock, nalgene style clear water bottles and a towel/blanket to have a seat on the grass. Gopros (no selfie sticks due to viewing) also heavily encouraged!

  • Clear backpacks, totes, handbags, plastic that are vinyl or PVC and do not exceed 12” x 12” x 6”
